Madar · handmade in Egypt
A quiet detail, shaped from Sarsu wood
Madar turns an everyday object into a piece of decor. Its name means “orbit” in Arabic, and its shape follows the idea: every edge is rounded, every surface is smooth to the touch, and the grain wraps around the whole body.

The details
Simple from afar, considered up close
Rounded by hand
Each corner is shaped to a soft 20 mm curve and polished by hand, so it feels as warm as it looks.
A lid that closes itself
Two wooden halves held by hidden magnets. Lift the top, add your tissues, and set it back. No hinges, no screws.
Steady on any surface
Four small pads under the base protect your table and keep the box from sliding.
Where it belongs
At home in every room

Good to know
Before you order
Will my tissue box fit?
The inner space is 18 × 11 cm, which fits most rectangular tissue boxes.
How do I refill it?
Lift the top half, place the tissue box or the tissues in the base, and put the top back on. The magnets hold it in place.
Will my piece look exactly like the photos?
Sarsu wood is a natural material, so the grain and tone of each piece differ slightly. That is what makes yours one of a kind.
How do I care for it?
Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Keep it away from direct water and prolonged strong sunlight.
